8. SuperTruck Program. INTRODUCTION. The SuperTruck program was designed to provide a full Class 8 tractor-trailer vehicle demonstration of a wide range of technologies, many of which were developed at the component or subsystem level under previous 21st Century Truck Partnership (21CTP) projects. 1 The SuperTruck program aligns with findings and recommendations set out in the NRC Phase 1. The interim report will include all results of Tasks 1 through 4, specifically including the Task 3 white papers and the Phase II work plans.
